Processing of (personal) data by the entity in charge of the online application process
Privacy Policy
We (Wera Werkzeuge GmbH, Korzerter Str. 21-25, 42349 Wuppertal) process your personal data with regard to your person in connection with the implementation of your application procedure as well as to check your potential work-related employability. In doing so, we process the information you provide for the purpose of making an informed recruitment decision on the basis of Art. 6 [1] p. 1 I [b] of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In addition, evaluations based on objective, non-discriminatory criteria are stored.
The data you provide is necessary for the application process. Without this data, we cannot consider your application.
Disclosure / Service provider
We will only pass on your personal data to other companies in our group if you have given us your consent to do so, in order to provide you with further employment opportunities within our group of companies.
To some extent, external IT service providers may access your data (within the scope of contracted data processing pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR). In this case, the service providers act in accordance with instructions, an aspect that is ensured in corresponding contractual agreements.
Retention and deletion of data
Your data will be kept for as long as is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes in the recruitment selection procedure. If you object to such data processing during the recruitment selection procedure, the data will be deleted - unless otherwise required by law.
The data will be deleted after the application process has been completed and after any time limits for proceedings have expired, unless you have given your consent to save your application for further job offers. Unsolicited applications are stored for a maximum of up to six months or until you revoke them and are then deleted.
Your rights
We inform you that pursuant to Article 15 et seq. of the GDPR, you have the following rights as a data subject under the conditions defined therein: the right to information about the personal data concerned as well as to rectification or deletion or to restriction of processing or the right to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in accordance with Article 77 of the GDPR. If the processing
is based on Article 6 [1a] of the GDPR or Article 9 [2a] of the GDPR (consent), you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the withdrawal.
